Cespitularia is very similar and often confused with Xenia. It is a soft coral with long extended polyps like Xenia but the polyps do not pulse like with Xenia. Under proper lighting Cespitularia is popular for its blue color that can even appear shimmering. This coral can also appear pink or tan depending on lighting and flow. It will do well under a wide range of light levels but does prefer at least moderate water flow.
